Sawao Yamanaka's third solo album, 破壊的イノベーション

Yamanaka has just announced his third solo album (roughly translated as Disruptive Innovation) to be released some time early next year on February 13th. Here's the track list.

New Sawao Yamanaka Website and new solo single

Looks like the pillows are taking a little break. It's been recently announced that Sawao Yamanaka has a website dedicated to his solo career. There's also recent announcement of his first solo single, titled Answer, to be released on January 16th, 2013. The DVD version includes the music videos for Answer and Desert Me. There's no cover art for the single yet, but they did release the track list for it. Be sure to keep checking for further updates. Click here to be directed to his website.

It's 9/16! For those who don't know, September 16th marks the day that the pillows first formed. Today is their 23rd year and they're still going strong! To commemorate this celebration, I've made a tribute art referencing to their latest album, Trial. Hope you enjoy and happy 9/16! :D

Yoshiaki Manabe's first debut album coming soon

Yoshiaki Manabe of the pillows have announced that he will be releasing his first solo album (do not be mistaken by his side project, Nine Miles), titled Rutile. It's set to be released this year on November 14th. Read more to see the album cover art and the track list.

I am currently putting the English Subtitles on the pillows' DVD documentary on YouTube at the moment.The translation may not be perfect, but at least people who speak English will have a general idea of what they're talking about. All-girl Indie J-Rock band, noodles, have announced a new album titled "Funtime," which is set to be released on September 5th. Ah man, this whole blogging thing is starting to get kinda intimidating. No worries, I'm bound to get used to it eventually haha. Anyways, welcome to my blog!
